The Ertec Curb Inlet Guard is a patented, low-cost sediment control system designed specifically for curb inlets without grates. This 75-inch module (Model CIG75) is part of a modular series where segments can be overlapped to fit any length of curb opening. It features a unique integrated filter with a 2-inch vertical height that allows water to bypass during high-flow events, preventing street flooding while still capturing sediment and debris.
Constructed from durable, UV-stable, and recyclable HDPE, the unit includes built-in brackets to prevent it from collapsing into the storm drain. It is designed for easy installation, maintenance, and reuse across multiple projects. An optional hydrocarbon absorption jacket is also available for applications involving new asphalt or industrial runoff.
