Description

The Simpson Strong-Tie DTT1Z DECK TENSION TIE ZMAX is a safe and cost-effective connector designed to meet or exceed code requirements for deck construction. It provides a secure, code-compliant 750 lb. deck-to-house lateral load connection, ideal for new construction or retrofitting existing decks. This tie allows for a less invasive installation, connecting to the house framing without needing access to interior floor joists. Its ZMAX coating offers enhanced corrosion resistance for exterior applications.

Features

  • Can be installed with Strong-Drive SDWH Timber-Hex HDG screws with an integral washer.
