This 17-piece Milwaukee Metric Tap and Die Set is designed for creating and repairing threads in a variety of common metal applications, including brass, aluminum, and mild steel. It features precision-machined taps and dies with clear, laser-etched sizing and a durable black oxide coating for corrosion resistance. The set includes plug-style taps for through-hole threading and hex dies compatible with standard die stocks, as well as accompanying drill bits for pre-drilling pilot holes. For optimal results, use with cutting fluid.
