Description

The Simpson Strong-Tie CBSDQ Sheathing-to-CFS screw securely fastens various sheathing materials to cold-formed-steel (CFS). Its self-drilling point drives into materials easily, and the flat head with nibs countersinks flush to surfaces. This screw is ideally suited for fastening sheathing to interior walls and floors (recommended thicknesses: 11-18 gauge).
  • Ribbed flat head with nibs for easy countersinking and smooth finish
  • #2 undersized square drive
  • #2 drill point with wings prevents jacking
  • CBSDQ screws may be used as prescribed by the codes for shearwalls and diaphragms as described in AISI S240, S400 and S214
  • Driver bit included in each box; replacement bit: BIT2SU-2-RC3
  • Length: 2-1/4 in.
