The THD50300H 1/2" x 3" Titen HD is a patented, high-strength screw anchor for concrete and masonry. The self-undercutting, non-expansion characteristics of the Titen HD makes it the ideal anchor for structural applications, even at minimum edge distances and under reduced spacing conditions. The proprietary cutting teeth enable the Titen HD to be installed in one eighth of the time when compared to traditional expansion anchors, and at significantly reduced installation torques. The anchor can be installed with a standard ANSI tolerance drill bit and is removable. Recommended for permanent dry, interior non-corrosive environments or temporary outdoor applications.

    • Zinc Plated Carbon Steel
    • Qualified for static and seismic loading conditions
    • Thread design undercuts to efficiently transfer the load to the base material Standard fractional sizes
    • Specialized heat-treating process creates tip hardness for better cutting without compromising the ductility
    • No special drill bit required — designed to install using standard-sized ANSI tolerance drill bits
    • Testing shows the Titen HD installs in concrete with 50% less torque than competitor anchors
    • Hex-washer head requires no separate washer, unless required by code, and provides a clean installed appearance
    • Removable — ideal for temporary anchoring (e.g., formwork, bracing) or applications where fixtures may need to be moved
    • Zinc Plated Carbon Steel
    • NOTE: Reuse of the anchor to achieve listed load values is not recommended

    Zinc Coating Information

This coating system consists of an electroplated zinc base layer with an E-Coat top coat. It provides corrosion resistance that is adequate for low corrosion environments. In ASTM B117 salt spray testing at 500 hours of exposure, fasteners with this coating have an average red rust of less than 5%.
    Level of Corrosion Resistance: Low
