Description

The Simpson Strong-Tie CBSQ46-SDS2HDG is a heavy-duty column base designed to connect 4x6 wood posts to concrete foundations while providing a critical 1-inch standoff to prevent post-end decay. This high-capacity connector uses Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws to provide faster installation and a greater wood net section area than traditional bolting. The hot-dip galvanized finish ensures maximum corrosion resistance for exterior applications or pressure-treated lumber. Note: This model has been discontinued and replaced by the CBSTQ46-SDS2HDG series.
