The Simpson Strong-Tie CBST66HDG is a cast-in-place column base engineered to provide a robust connection between 6x6 wood posts and concrete foundations. As the modern successor to the discontinued CBS series, it incorporates S-shaped bearing tabs that significantly increase download capacity and overall structural stability. The integrated 1-inch standoff design elevates the post above the concrete, effectively preventing moisture accumulation and reducing the risk of wood rot.
