Description

Metal screws are designed to provide strength and superior performance in steel and other metal applications. The Simpson Strong-Tie self-drilling metal screw is ideal for fastening cold-formed steel (CFS) framing. This hand-drive screw features a hex-washer head design that provides a secure grip with the installation tool, allowing for quick and easy installation as well as the ability to distribute the load more easily with the integrated washer flange. The #3 drill point helps to penetrate thicker materials without the need for predrilling, saving time and labor, especially in high-volume or repetitive applications.

  • Clear zinc coatings are applied in accordance with ASTM F1941
