Description

The Simpson Strong-Tie LCE4 is a versatile, two-piece light post cap designed for connecting the end of a beam to a post, accommodating 4x and 6x lumber. It is ideal for both new and retrofit construction and is load-rated when installed in pairs. Its universal design eliminates the need for separate right and left pieces, offering superior strength compared to angled nailing or screw fastening, and importantly, it prevents nailing into the end grain of the wood.
