Description

The drop-in anchor setting tool is designed for properly and consistently installing Simpson Strong-Tie Drop-In internally threaded anchors. Using the setting tool, drop-ins are installed by driving the expander plug toward the bottom of the anchor until the shoulder of the setting tool makes contact with the top of the anchor.
  • SDS-plus shank power setting tool for DIAB anchors
  • For use with Simpson Strong-Tie Drop-In models DIAB50, DIABL50, and DIAB50C
  • Sets drop-ins for overhead applications
  • Drop-in anchors are sold separately
  • Made from carbon steel
  • Caution: Oversized holes will make it difficult to set the anchor and will reduce the anchor's load capacity
