The Simpson Strong-Tie MIT top-flange hanger is designed to provide a reliable, concealed connection for supporting engineered wood I-joists in residential, multifamily, and commercial construction. It features a funnel flange design that simplifies member placement and positive-angle nailing (PAN) to minimize splitting of joist flanges during installation. This cost-effective hanger is engineered to support 90-degree connections of I-joists to headers.
