The Simpson Strong-Tie Universal Retro Foundation Plate (URFP-SDS3) offers a robust solution for securing mudsills to various foundation types, especially where vertical clearance is minimal. This plate is engineered with longitudinal embossments and stiffening darts to enhance structural integrity and provides a flexible installation method. It is designed as a one-for-one replacement for 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch mudsill anchors and ensures reliable connection to both SDS screws and concrete anchorage. The scalloped slotted holes offer installation flexibility, allowing for mudsills that are offset or inset from the foundation edge.
