Description

ERTEC Slot Guard is a specialized sediment control barrier designed for slotted or trench drain inlets with grates in paved areas. It is installed directly on top of the existing grate and secured using 16-gauge tie wire to prevent debris and sediment from entering the drainage system. The system works effectively with periodic vehicle run-overs but should be protected from constant tire abuse in high-traffic areas. Regular maintenance involves removing accumulated debris and sediment when it reaches 50% of the barrier height to ensure continuous drainage performance.
